The Holidays are a magical time!

They mark the end of one year . . .

and the beginning of something new.

They are also a good time to look back and remember all the fun skills we learned,

and the awesome stuff we made.

It was a year of friendship,

creativity,

silliness,

and a whole lotta fun!

The Boutique has been knocking out weekly Fashion Shows all Summer long - and last night we presented the final show for Summer 2013.

There's so much sewing going on right now!!  The Big Fashion Shoot is just next week!  Sleeves are being hemmed.  Pant legs are trimmed.  And all those zippers . . . . What we could sure use at this very moment are some Sewing Fairies!  Maybe we should ask Miss Lisa . . . .

Getting Ready

We’re all getting ready for our Big Show in a couple weeks.  Designs are taking shape.  Excitement is starting to build.  But when you see how much we have all changed in just a short year, you gotta feel really proud.   

The Designs are more complex and ambitious.  Techniques are more expert.  Tasks we wouldn’t have dreamed of accomplishing are now part of our personal tool chest.  

  

But best of all, we’re making friendships that will last a life time. 

Beginning Again

Hey everybody!!! Welcome – or I should say Welcome Back – to the Manhattan Design Boutique!  

It's a New Year (I know it’s the end of February, but SOME people (me?) have trouble changing the year)  and New Name with a Brand Spanking New Logo!!!  Don’t you LOVE it!  And a New Session at the Boutique!  Miss Lisa is always full of surprises and this week she CHALLENGED us to draw . . . drum roll please . . .
